Who We are

Mary Kate brings a wealth of experience in venture capital and the alternative investment fund industry, including financial reporting guidance and operational expertise.

Her experience spans fund administration, audit/tax, and in-house finance. She played a vital role as a member of the leadership team at Aduro Advisors, collaborating closely with more than 25 emerging and established managers. Before her time at Aduro, she worked at a private equity firm, where she was responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and investment valuations. The foundation of her career was established during her seven-year tenure at PwC, where she conducted audits of institutional investment firms.

Mary Kate graduated cum laude from Denison University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology. She holds an MBA and MSA with honors from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. She is a registered CPA in Colorado.

Mary Kate lives with her husband and children outside of Boulder, where you can find her indulging in her love of baking and trying to improve her tennis game (but not at the same time).
